True. Just because it's from the same genre doesn't mean it's comparable. Their are many factors involved. That's like trying to compare an RPG like Final Fantasy to Fallout 3 or Mass Effect to Blue Dragon. Just not going to work. Oh well, not the first time I seen a silly article on this site.
Microsoft aren't the ones creating these articles you fool. Just so happens that Halo 3 is the best FPS this generation so every gaming journalist tries to compare the next big FPS with the king. Halo 3 is the reference title for FPS this gen. And so far, only COD4 has been the closest. Everything else is a far away third.
Smart comment. Yeah Halo 3 is more of a sci fi FPS. Half Life 2 or Haze would be a good comparison. M.A.G. can be compared to the hundreds of other war shooters like Battlefield.

Knifing is a sort of a glitch kinda like Halo 2's BXR. 2 quick reloads equals an instant melee death.

Oh cmon, let's try to keep this discussion reasonable. Don't give me this excuse of the media is biased towards Microsoft BS. And yes Halo 3 was advertised like crazy when it was released but you don't think the previous 2 great titles didn't have something to do with the great sales? How about the fact that I haven't seen a Halo 3 commercial in forever and it's still sells well and even outselling some of ps3's most recent AAA titles.

Honestly that was a horrible article. I was expecting a thorough outlook. I do believe that games on the 360 sell better tho'. I still say that Killzone 2 was a sales bust. All that development time, man power, money and it's not even at 2 million. I really feel that Sony was trying so hard to make this a huge money maker like Halo 3 but failed miserably.
